TAUNTON, MASSACHUSETTS – [November 25, 2025] – Mechanics Cooperative Bank is proud to announce its support of PRIDE Inc. through the full funding of custom wraps for two of the organization’s transportation vans. The refreshed vehicles will help increase visibility for PRIDE Inc.’s programs and further their mission of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the greater Taunton community.
PRIDE Inc.’s vans are essential for transporting clients safely to programs, and community activities. The new wraps reinforce the organization’s commitment to inclusion, dignity and independence.
“PRIDE Inc. is an anchor of our community, and the work they do truly changes lives,” said Joseph T. Baptista Jr, President & CEO of Mechanics Cooperative Bank. “These vans represent opportunity, connection, and support for the individuals and families they serve. We’re honored to play a small part in PRIDE Inc.’s mission.”
The custom vinyl application was completed by Luka B Signs, a local Taunton business, underscoring Mechanics Cooperative Bank’s commitment to supporting community-based vendors. The vibrant designs help raise awareness for PRIDE Inc. wherever the vans travel.
“We’re incredibly grateful for this partnership,” said Sarah Campbell, Executive Director for PRIDE Inc. “The generosity of Mechanics Cooperative Bank, and the beautiful work of Luka B Signs allows more of our members to access the community during program hours—gaining independence, confidence, and the opportunity to try new things.”
