How to enroll:
Enrolling is easy! Simply log into your Mechanics Cooperative Bank Mobile Banking or Internet Banking app and select “Alerts” from the settings menu located in the top right hand corner of the app/browser. There is no cost to enroll and available to you as a customer of Mechanics Cooperative Bank!

What are Real-Time Alerts?
Real-Time Alerts are account activity alerts initiated via email or text message when a specific trigger is performed. These alerts typically arrive within a minute of account activity taking place. These alerts can be helpful for daily balance reminders, sent when transactions clear, when balance thresholds are met, a deposit is made, and much more!
How are Real-Time Alerts delivered?
Real-Time Alerts are delivered via text message or email and setup within your Mechanics Cooperative Bank Internet Banking/Mobile Banking platform.
Can I send alerts to more than person?
Yes! When setting up your alerts, there is an option for a secondary email and/or phone number.
How do I set up alerts?
To setup Real-Time Alerts, simply select “Alerts” from the settings menu located in the upper right hand corner of your Internet Banking or Mobile Banking app. From there, you can setup how you would like to be notified, and select from a variety of account or security alerts. When selecting account alerts, you will be prompted to select the account you would like the alert to be applied to!
Do I have to be enrolled in Online Banking to receive Real-Time Alerts?
Yes. Download the Mechanics Cooperative Bank App (links in the footer) or visit our website to enroll in Internet Banking to get started!
What Real-Time Alerts are available for me to set-up?
Setup account alerts for:
- Balance thresholds
- Daily Balance Reminders
- Debit/Credit transactions posted to your account
- Debit/Credit transactions below/over threshold amount
In addition, setup Security Alerts including:
- Password Changes
- Email Changes
- Online Account Transfer Notification
- External Transfer Notification
Is there a fee to receive alerts?
No. This is a free service included with the Mechanics Cooperative Bank Internet/Mobile Banking platform. However, text message and data rates may be charged by your wireless carrier to receive text message alerts on your mobile device.
